Blog #2: Plant Based (Vegan) versus Animal Based Diets

1) What is the definition of a plant-based or vegan diet? Some of the definition to plant-based diet will be the diet “mainly” vegetable, fruits and nuts. For vegan diet, it is more strictly defined as 100% plant-based diet. No meat, seafood, or dairy products should be consumed 2) Provide 3 health benefits of following a plant-based diet versus the currently high animal based diet that is generally followed. Blog #1 Introduction

 1. Topic in nutrition that interests me:  I'm particularly interested in plant-based diet nutrition. I've been trying to do a more plant-based diet and had tried complete plant-based diet for a period. I would like to understand more about the nutrition for the non-meat ingredients so that I don't have to compromise the dishes I am able to make. In that way, the plant-based diet will be easier for me to implement.  2.
